Shanna Johnson

My name is Shanna. I have loved RVing since I was a kid. I have great memories of RV trips with my family. My grandfather remodeled and fabricated handicap accessible motorhomes and trailers with wheelchair lifts. This allowed my grandmother, who relied on a wheelchair, to go camping and be comfortable and independent as she always was. This showed me that camping can be for everyone, and I was intrigued at all the different RVs out there. I've had a long career in healthcare as a radiation therapist, x-ray and MRI technologist.  I am transitioning my care giving skills from the human body to the RV space. My entire career has been helping diagnose and treat people. Now I can do that for RVs through quality inspections. I can help find and diagnose problems with an RV through testing and visual inspections. (X-ray techs see everything!) And as with the human body, preventative maintenance on the RV is key to avoiding major issues down the road. Through our company, Safe RV Travels, LLC, my husband Forrest and I offer mobile RV consultations, inspections, repair and maintenance services. We currently live in Anchorage, Alaska and are preparing for fulltime RV living next year, when we can live the snowbird dream.
