I got into RVing over a decade ago because it’s one of the best ways to truly see and experience the country. RV travel offers a kind of freedom that’s hard to replicate—new places, new people, and the ability to bring home with you wherever you go.

My eureka moment came after the purchase of our second motorhome. What appeared to be a solid RV had significant undisclosed water damage that wasn’t obvious at the time. I didn’t yet know what to look for or how to distinguish cosmetic issues from problems that could seriously impact safety, value, and long-term reliability. The RV simply wasn’t worth what I paid for it.

That experience didn’t discourage me from RVing—it opened my eyes.

RVs are unique machines. They blend structural components, electrical systems, plumbing, appliances, and weather exposure in ways that make problems easy to hide and hard to understand without proper knowledge. Most buyers don’t lack intelligence or diligence—they lack access to clear, objective information.

RVScope was created to fill that gap.
