I am part of an awesome Team, RV Savvy! I spent 35 years in Commercial and Residential Construction and I wanted to continue to apply my knowledge and my knack to fix just about anything to the world of RV's. My wife, Lora had 28-year career in Corporate Business, it was time for a big change! In 2019 we decided to take a sabbatical from the working world to see more of our beautiful USA.
We bought our first motorcoach, and we hit the road to see where our hearts and our RV would lead us. 8 years, 5 RVs, 65,000 miles, 28 states, 16 National Parks and 115 RV campgrounds later, we figured it outâŚÂ We LOVE RVing!!
We decided it was time to share our passion for helping others and our love of the RV life. Lora and I both graduated from the National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) and completed the National RV Inspectors Association (NRVIA) Advanced Training program in Athens Texas. As RVTAA Registered RV Service Technicians and NRVIA Certified RV Inspectors we not only have the real-life experience to share with you, but also the education and skills needed to help you make your journey the best it can be.

Worth Every PennyâGet the Inspection Before You Buy!
I cannot say enough good things about RVSavvy, Norman, and his wife Lora. If youâre considering purchasing an RVâespecially a large fifth wheelâdo yourself, your family, and everyone on the road a favor and get a third-party inspection before you buy. Norman and Lora inspected a 2020 Keystone Montana Legacy for me in Ashland, VA, and made the entire process easy. They were professional, punctual, communicative, and transparent, with all costs explained up front and no hidden fees. As a potential new RV owner, I found their detailed inspection report extremely valuable and helpful in determining whether to move forward with the purchase. Most importantly, Norman uncovered several concerning discrepancies that the dealershipâs own inspection had missed, including misaligned and significantly bent leaf springs. I considered this a serious safety concern and was not comfortable hauling a fifth wheel with such an issue. The dealership refused to make the requested repairs, so I ultimately walked away from the deal. When they began speaking negatively about third-party inspectors, that was another major red flag for me. This experience reinforced that an independent inspection is about much more than negotiating priceâitâs about protecting your family, your investment, and everyone sharing the road with you, while providing peace of mind on a major purchase. My only suggestion for enhancing RVSavvyâs already excellent service would be to offer thermal imaging as an optional upgrade to help identify potential hidden moisture or water intrusion in walls, ceilings, and floors from rain or internal leaks. I would gladly pay an additional fee for this capability. Thank you, Norman and Lora, for your professionalism, knowledge, thoroughness, and honesty. The peace of mind was well worth the inspection fee and helped me make the right decision. My wife and I hope to work with you again when we find the right RV. I wouldnât hesitate to recommend RVSavvyâget the inspection!

Outstanding start to finish
Norman and his wife Lora are awesome to work with, giving me total confidence in representing my family's needs in the purchase of an out of state motor home. Communications were timely and with ease, thru calls, texts and emails. Once set-up, Norman and his team worked directly w/ the seller to set a time, place and requirements for the inspection. Inspection - "thorough" is an understatement! An 83 page detailed report including pictures is what I received following a 20 minute phone debrief! Every system, nook and cranny of the 2022 Ekko 22A was looked at and exercised on our behalf. Once i drove to see the unit myself, it was clear how correct the report actually was. Can't say this any clearer - if able, use Mr. Coon w/o hesitation and with peace of mind...you're buying a house on wheels - pay for the best!

Excellent job
Norman and Lora did a great job inspecting our RV prior to us purchasing it. Despite it being a high-end brand, they still found quite a few things that we had the dealer fix before we agreed to purchase it. I am much more confident that we have a good unit that will last us a long time and that we were not taken advantage of by the dealership. Highly recommend their services!

Incredible Help!
I came across Norman and Lora when I was looking to purchase a 45â toy hauler from Virginia and I was in South Carolina. Not only was I worried about having to come up to Virginia to inspect myself, but I was also worried about knowing what all to look for when I got there. I could not be more pleased with the inspection that Norman and Lora did for me. The inspection was way more detailed than I was expecting and it really helped me with the purchase and even after the purchase as the new owner. Not only did they provide me with an inspection report, but they also explained everything to me with great detail and awesome explanations. Knowing that there wasnât a single inch that wasnât inspected was a great peace of mind and really allowed me to go to Virginia knowing exactly what to expect. I canât recommend them enough and I know anybody would be blown away with their attention to detail and passion for RVs and RV inspections.
