Ridgeback RV Services, LLC is your mobile RV service and repair solution serving Douglas County, Nevada, including Minden, Gardnerville, Zephyr Cove, and the surrounding areas of South Lake Tahoe, Carson City, and Topaz Ranch Estates. As a mobile technician, we come to you!

Ridgeback RV Services, LLC is owned and operated by John and Dawn Vanek, of Gardnerville, Nevada. They’ve been enjoying their RV for over 10 years.

John is a Certified RV Technician through the RV Technician Association of America-RVTAA. He has also completed the Dometic Advanced Training Academy for air conditioners, water heaters, furnaces, and refrigerators. He is also licensed by the Nevada Board for the Regulation of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Class 3B) to install or repair LP-Gas systems installed on recreational vehicles.

John spent 25 years in law enforcement and another 12 consulting for federal, state, and private organizations on the response to human trafficking before launching Ridgeback RV Services.

Dawn is a Registered Nurse and Lactation Consultant. She is also a competitive equestrian and spends much of her time with her two Arabians, Miri, and Brogan.

Ridgeback RV Services, LLC is named in honor of our first dog, Genza, a Rhodesian Ridgeback. If you are lucky, you may find Dawn and John’s current canine, Bella, in the truck with John as they serve RV owners in the Douglas County, Nevada area, and beyond.
