Pioneer RV Inspections

My name is Rick Barkdull. I purchased my first recreational vehicle (RV) while working in the seismograph industry in 1978, living and raising a young family while traveling throughout the Rocky Mountain area. I later settled down in Manvel, Texas and that’s where I’ve been now for 35 years. With the kids grown, my wife and I decided to hit the road again, traveling for recreation and relaxation. We purchased a new RV in 2018. During the final walk through before taking full ownership, I over-looked a few issues which negatively impacted our RV experience. My new RV has spent 9 months in the shop during the first two years that I have owned it. I was so caught up in the comfort and aesthetics of the RV, I was blinded to the issues that needed my attention the most; and I was not a novice to RV ownership. I set out on a mission to learn as much about RVs as possible. I became a Registered RV Technician, and a Level 2 RV Inspector through training at the National RV Training Academy. I apply this knowledge to help people with their purchases of new and used RVs. Services include: • walk through inspections, • insurance inspections, • three levels of pre-purchase inspections on travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, and motor homes both gas and diesel pushers, • fluid analysis on your fluids that are used with your RV and generator. My goal is to help you have a more enjoyable RV purchasing experience.
