We have been RV owners since 2007, starting as full timers and currently combine our RV adventures with our home base in Central Florida. We love the RV lifestyle and the great people we have met. I founded NextOnDeck RV with a commitment to help others in their RV experience. My career began as an avionics technician in the airline and aviation industry and have over 30 years in field service, training operations and flight simulation engineering. I am a NRVIA Certified Inspector and RVTAA Registered Technician and offer consulting, Essential/Life Safety and Premier Inspections and other services. While I am based in Central Florida, I travel often to Northeast and South Florida. iN-Command Control Replacement
Mark did a fantastic job replacing our failed iN-Command control panel. First of all, he was very prompt to respond to my call when we could not get our slides out. He manually helped us get our 3 slides out, then started assessing the situation. He did a tremendous amount of research to resolve our issue which required a replacement and upgrade of the system. All options for repair and costs were discussed, Mark kept us updated on orders and gave us a reasonable time frame of repair completion. Mark is very meticulous in his work, excellent cleaned up habits, gave us clear instructions on use of the new system, and very fair on costs. While working on this issue, our RV toilet was also replaced because of a leak in the base. Next On Deck RV is now my go-to mobile RV repair person. Next On Deck RV and Mark Johnson come highly recommended.

RV Inspection
I had an excellent experience with Mark. He inspected a Class A RV for me. He is extremely knowledgeable and clearly an expert in his field. Throughout the entire process, he was generous with his time and information, explaining everything in detail and making sure I understood every aspect of the inspection. He was timely, responsive, and completely professional from start to finish. It’s rare to find someone who combines technical expertise with such a helpful, customer-focused approach. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a thorough and trustworthy RV inspection.

Repairing My Water Heater
My water heater was operating on propane, but it wouldn't work on electricity. I messaged Mark through the app, but the message didn't get through to him, so I followed up with a phone call. He was out of the area, but we arranged his visit for the day after his return. He quickly isolated the problem, replaced the defective element, got the water heater running, and arranged a follow-up return the next day. The follow-up verified the continued correct function. Throughout his visit, he readily answered all of my various and unrelated questions. Mark is knowledgeable, friendly, thoughtful, and great with customer care.

Refrigerator Power issue and Hot Water Maintenance - A Next On Deck Experience
I have used Mark a couple of times for my RV problems. Mark comes highly recommended for all RV needs. He has been super responsive, honest, dependable, with reasonable charges. His most impressive quality is follow-up. With each resolved issue, Mark has followed up to make sure all questions are answered and that the problems were resolved and no longer a problem. Professional, Peace-of-Mind Provider
I wanted to buy (and did) a motorhome I found in Jacksonville, FL. I live in NW Arkansas and wanted to find a certified RV Inspector, who serviced Jacksonville, to check it out for me. I spoke to four inspectors and chose Mark Johnson because of his calm and professional demeanor. Mark went above and beyond what I expected he would do to make this purchase comfortable for me. He made multiple trips to the dealership to see that they had performed corrections to what he had found prior to my arrival. He was present at the dealership when I went through the walk-thru with the dealership serviceman and came to the campground where I stayed the first night I had it to answer any questions I had. Needless to say, I was so impressed and thankful for the way he conducted his business in such a caring and professional way. For those seeking an inspector, you cannot go wrong with choosing Mark Johnson to be your inspector.
