Buyer beware
If I could give negative stars, I would. Before any work was performed, we agreed on a price. I was quoted $100 for a trip fee and $150 for labor for an insurance estimate. To avoid the trip fee, I offered to bring my camper to their shop. After days of back-and-forth, they stated they would be working nearby and preferred to come to me. I was explicitly told the trip fee was waived and the total charge would be "about $150." Instead, I received an invoice for $432.22—nearly triple the agreed amount. It included: The waived $100 trip fee Labor billed at $195/hr (despite the $150 rate quoted and posted on their website) An undisclosed $99 "insurance claims processing fee" Furthermore, the estimate Big Jerm submitted to my insurance company did not match the invoice they expected me to pay. When I questioned the discrepancies, they claimed they spent "hours" on calls and emails with insurance, yet provided zero documentation or time breakdown to verify this. When I asked for the invoice to be corrected to the agreed price, the office manager threatened to file a mechanic’s lien against my camper rather than address the billing dispute professionally. Communication throughout was terrible—it took constant calls and texts just to schedule, leading me to have the actual repair work completed elsewhere. Big Jerm quoted one price, inflated the final bill with surprise fees, and met valid billing concerns with threats. I cannot recommend this business and will not use them again.

Provider Response
We take every customer interaction seriously, and this review does not reflect the facts of what occurred. The claims made here are inaccurate, incomplete, and misrepresent both the agreed pricing and the work requested. This unit had thousands of dollars in documented damages, and the assessment you requested involved a full inspection, detailed documentation, and an insurance‑ready estimate, which is not a normal repair request. You expanded the scope multiple times, requested additional tasks, and then declined to move forward after all materials had already been prepared. The few hundred dollars that you were billed covered the assessment and documentation you received — work that is normally absorbed into a repair contract but becomes unrecoverable when a customer chooses not to proceed, which you did. You were offered a complete breakdown of the bill, along with copies of all documentation and communication. Instead of responding or requesting clarification, you chose to post reviews without engaging in any follow‑up. At no point did we threaten a mechanic’s lien; that claim is simply false. This is precisely why a processing charge exists: when discounted estimate preparation is requested and the job is abandoned, the invested time, documentation, and preparation cannot be absorbed. Our pricing was communicated clearly, and we maintain full records of every call, email, estimate, and adjustment. We are glad to provide this documentation to any customer or insurer upon request. We stand behind our processes, our transparency, and our documentation. While we regret that this interaction ended the way it did, we cannot allow false or misleading statements to go unaddressed.
