Do not use Ironwood RV Service
Needed help with our toilet, was leaking at the base of the toilet. Found Wil on this site, he came out to diagnose the problem. Found the issue & needed to order the part. He quoted us $500-$600 in labor plus the cost of the part which was $82.00. He told us he had never worked on this type of toilet (2025 DRV). He asked if my husband wanted to be there for the repair to see how it was done. We replied no since my husband works 6 days week. Part came in, was suppose to be here to fix on a Friday. We had to track him down on Friday & his response was he wanted to wait for my husband to be to home to “ show him how it’s done” Saturday came, my husband was side by side with him for 3 hours. The bill came in at $1100! He quoted us $500-$600, said he was not going to charge us with mileage to go get the part, he did, told us we were an hour from his home (he should have disclosed that) questioned about the total price for labor when my husband was literally hands on every step of the way, he responded with “he was teaching my husband”, Wil had already told us he had no experience working on these toilets because they are to new. Long story short, he should have told us the labor was going to double in price. We will never use him again & I recommend you don’t either.

Amazing service

Repairs and Educates
We called Doc to address an issue with our water heater and to help us understand how various systems work. I confessed that I was uncomfortable taking the RV far from home because I didn’t understand how things worked. He is an outstanding educator and communicator who has definitely made a difference in my knowledge and comfort level.

Installed wiring for 12v. fridge
Doc Malmskog and his helper installed wiring to my new 12v. refrigerator. They travelled over an hour to assess the job, which took about two hours, and he did not charge me for that trip. Two days later, they were back with tools and wire, and spent four hours on a hot day threading 10g. wire from the converter to the fridge. The distance between them was small, but there was no easy path. Later, I told him some guys would have given up and said, “Fix it yourself”. Doc is a humble, patient man.
