I got my trailer out of storage and connected up the battery (I always take them out for winter and put them on a maintainer for winter). Well, hooked up battery and nothing 12V would operate. No inside 12V lights, stabilizer jack motors, etc. I did some snooping around and had 12V at the battery, and across the cutoff, but still nothing inside. So I put in a call (I HATE ELECTRICAL ON VEHICLES), and Mark responded. He offered to do some “dummy proofing” and make sure a visit was actually necessary. I knew the ropes, but these trailers can always hide “fun” things, and the documentation the manufacturer provides is worthless. Including their schematic - so having someone else with experience in trailers was helpful. I called him back later to tell him results and discuss. He called me back a minute or two later with “another thought”. Without a trip, or a charge - much like one friend helping another. Tells me about everything I need to know about Mark’s character. He has earned a spot on my contacts list in case I need something in the future. Oh, the fix? I’m guessing plugging the trailer in had reset a resettable fuse, or since it’s a “smart” system, gave it a chance and it reset itself. In 5 years of owning the trailer, it’s not done this before. So Mark just spent a few minutes so a call could be avoided, if possible, and to go through the simple stuff. Technically, Mark fixed it without fixing it. Thanks Mark!
