In 2020, the US Fire Administration published a data snapshot indicating on average there are 15 deaths, 125 injuries, and over $60million worth of damage to RVs due to fire each year.

Traffic accident data is difficult to track and research. But depending on the source, estimates include about 500,000 accidents, 75,000 hospitalizations, and 25 deaths involving towable RVs every year.
