Growing up on an island in Coastal Maine meant we had to be hearty self sufficient folks. Loosing power was all too common while growing up, and we didn't have internet until 2002. I still remember those dial up tones and my parents telling my brother and I to "get off the computer we're waiting for an important phone call!" Now 20 years later I wish days were still that simple. As a family, we now own and operate, with an amazing core group of staff,  a small RV Resort, Brewery, & Restaurant on the Boothbay Peninsula. We have 20 sites and 4 workamper sites. There are two other Campgrounds/RV Resorts in the area that, combined, can host just around 300 RVs at any given time. After noticing that guest felt that they had to drive at least an hour for RV parts and/or service I decided to take my passion for RVing and combine it with my self sufficient, fix anything talents.
