Derrick Barber

Highest quality RV inspection / advice

All the phenomenal reviews about Derrick are on point - he was knowledgeable, thorough and thoughtful. We purchased our first RV and his guidance and quality of inspection gave us confidence to make such a big purchase! Thanks for everything!

I can’t recommend Derrick enough. He uncovered a major issue during the inspection that ultimately saved me from making a very expensive mistake. Derrick was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and informative throughout the entire process. He took the time to clearly explain everything he found and never made me feel rushed. He shared helpful tips on what to look for when shopping for an RV in the future. I would 100% recommend him to anyone considering an RV inspection!

We highly recommend Derrick at Detailed RV Inspections for your RV inspection. Derrick was incredibly responsive to our emails, texts, and phone calls. His work was thorough and he communicated his findings quickly and understandably. He went above and beyond. Derrick was a wealth of information on owning a motorhome. Derrick was a joy to work with. He is very personable. This was our first time getting an RV inspected and he alleviated all of our fears. It was a great process.

I bought a super C new this last August, my first RV purchase. I intended to delay this review a bit in order to have some perspective on the whole process. Unfortunately, the time got away from me and it’s a little more delayed than I intended. Sorry! To be concise: It is impossible to recommend Derrick highly enough. If you don’t avail yourself of his services, you have missed an enormous opportunity. His dedication and attention to detail made his inspection and the report generated far more valuable than what he charged. He found several issues that the dealership addressed prior to purchase that would have been far more expensive and inconvenient to deal with later. Despite being in the middle of the busiest part of his season he scheduled me promptly and was very accommodating. His communications were prompt and concise, and he answered my (sometimes inane) questions without even a hint of exasperation, which I’m sure he had to have felt at some point. Even the dealership remarked to me about his professionalism and how good he was to work with on their end. After almost five months and half a dozen trips (including a 2500 mile round trip, ten day jaunt to Texas pulling my trailer and track car) the RV has worked flawlessly. A less concrete, though very real benefit of working with Derrick is that the results of the inspection and follow up work gave me the confidence to run those trips, when it otherwise would have taken me much more time to work up to. So the benefits of that inspection have extended far beyond just the purchasing process. From what I have learned about RV inspections, Derrick definitely stands out in this industry. He certainly will receive my repeat business if I ever change platforms, and I am very grateful to him for the positive effect he has had on our experience. I would recommend to ANYONE considering an RV purchase that he be the first, second and third contact for their inspection needs.

I can’t thank Derrick enough. I’m in Arizona and the RV I bought was all the way in Utah, but he stepped in and truly saved the day. He inspected the RV quickly, professionally, and at a very fair price.
