Went out for a vacation and my slide would not extend. Ended up for 10 days without a slide-out. Found Jim online an gave a call. He came out within 2 days and had a look. after looking it over and not discovering any errors in the control board or it did not appear to have any blockages he realized that the slide may gave been part of a recall. He contacted Lippert right there on his phone and discussed the problem, got serial numbers and they agreed. He was able to order the parts that day and within 2 weeks he was out installing them. He could have ignored the recall and just ordered and installed the parts with a $1800 charge. But because of his knowledge and diligence, he went the extra mile and completed the task. Give him a call. I know I will if something goes south again.

Jim was amazing. I called him at 6pm the night before we were to go out in our Motorhome. I had an electrical issue and our slide was not retracting. Jim not only took my call after hours but stayed on the phone with me for over an hour! Jim is very adept at troubleshooting issues over the phone and did an amazing job in helping me to solve my issue WITHOUT even seeing it. I was able to make the repair with his help and we left for the mountains the next morning and had a wonderful time. Thank you Jim!!

When I bought my first motorhome, I was looking for someone to come and do a once over of the unit to make sure everything was in proper working order. Not only was Jim responsive, punctual, reasonably priced, and knowledgeable, above all he is a tremendous person. Jim has helped me numerous times from education and small little fixes to bigger roof sealing and hot water tank replacements. As long as I own an RV , jim will be on my speed dial. A huge thank you to Jim Capretto! We were having issues with one of our slides hanging up as it was going out which eventually destroyed the gearbox for it. Jim replaced the gearbox for us and readjusted the slide cables. Now the slide is working good as new! Probably the biggest thing that stood out to me was Jim’s dedication to getting our issue resolved and getting us roadworthy in time for an upcoming camping trip. Jim worked to fit us into his schedule and even came out as soon as the new gearbox came in, working well into the evening hours to get the job done. I can’t thank Jim enough and his top notch customer service!
