Undeterred by the demands of supporting a family after military service, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry, a Master of Science degree in Natural Resource Economics, and another Master of Science degree in Information Systems. After completing his academic journey, Robie embarked on a fulfilling career with the US Forest Service. As a Forester and Land Use Planner, he played a crucial role in managing and conserving natural resources, utilizing his extensive knowledge of forestry and economics to make informed decisions. Additionally, Robie’s talents as an Operations Research Analyst allowed him to develop innovative strategies and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
Seeking new challenges and opportunities, Robie transitioned to the private sector, where he assumed leadership roles in software development organizations. His expertise in managing complex projects and guiding teams made him an invaluable asset to various government organizations, as well as the financial and beverage industries. Robie’s ability to bridge the gap between technology and business needs proved instrumental in delivering cutting-edge solutions and driving organizational success.
Recently, Robie has returned to his technologist roots and embraced a new venture. Drawing upon his comprehensive skill set and his passion for providing technical solutions, he became a RVTAA Certified RV Technician. With his company specializing in Off-grid capable Camper Van conversions and electrical system upgrades, Robie combines his technical expertise with his affinity for outdoor exploration.
