I am an Advanced Certified RV Tech and Inspector and have lived full time in my 5th wheel and truck camper since 2018. I know first hand what it's like when equipment fails when you most need it. No show, no contact
I've been sitting in my truck waiting for an hour and half. He has not called, emailed, texted or anything. Judging from the other review I read, it seems this is a pattern of behavior for him. And prepayment is standard?? Lmao that's a complete lie. I've never prepaid for any service like this. You get paid when you complete the work that you have contractually agreed to.

Hello Jason, I texted you about my medical condition that morning. Like I said I woke up with Shingles on the my right side of my chest, arm and back. It's an excruciating pain which led me to seek immediate medical attention. I hope you understand some conditions are beyond anyone's control.

Thoroughly unprofessional and irresponsible
Extremely unprofessional behavior. After we made arrangements for an inspection at a time when I had to cancel attendance at a grandparent’s day at school, he delayed sending a contract for my review. I emailed back to confirm and then had the Rv dealer and I waiting. After 30 minutes, I called to find out where he was and he decided he couldn’t do the inspection. No call; no email; just blew it off. When I told him I had changed my plans to accommodate his time, he hung up on me. He also requires a PREPAYMENT for hs services, and the contract he uses is beyond the pale in its provisions. I would stay away from this outfit.

I take feedback seriously and would like to address the following: It's industry standard to prepay for professional RV inspection services in order to secure the inspector's time, since these are extensive jobs that can last an entire day. You contacted me the day before you wanted the inspection done so I sent you the contract to sign. Despite my willingness to address your request on such short notice, you did not sign the contract or prepay, so I assumed you opted not to use my services.

Stop Searching and Hire Hugo!
As first time RV buyers my wife and I did over 100+ hours of research. You very quickly learn that things WILL go wrong. It's not if, but when, and as long as you own a travel trailer. So when we finally set our sights on 'the one' we knew we wanted to get an A-Z inspection so we could confidently take the travel trailer off the lot. Hiring a quality RV tech is not cheap, but it's an investment that could save you so much more time and money in the future. Hugo was quick to answer our call, immediately gave us a rich summary of his extensive experience as an RV Tech, was willing to travel the distance to our travel trailer location for inspection (2hr drive) on a rather short notice, and was above and beyond with his in person walk through and post inspection. By the time we showed up to the lot, Hugo already had a short (fortunately!) list of minor repairs and cleaning to be done on the Travel Trailer for us to pass off to the dealership to be taken care of before we left that day. All things my wife and I would have 100% have overlooked, being completely new to travel trailers and the expectations through the buying process. Hugo walked us inside, outside, and even on top of our travel trailer, taking the time to teach us various features while taking time to ask if we had questions and answer those questions. Tips, tricks, hacks, products, cautions, best practices, etc. Hugo was confirming much of what we learned, while still teaching us even more new things. Few are truly passionate their work. Hugo is one of the few who exudes passion, knowledge, and care, while ensuring you feel comfortable and understand everything he reviews. Beyond his personal expertise, he is an educator with the ability to communicate complex info into easily digestible info. We truly did not expect to experience the level of passion, dedication, personability, and willingness to teach from an RV Tech. Hugo checks ALL of the boxes. Do yourself a favor and hire Hugo!

Mixes feelings
Hugo is the nicest guy you could ever meet and he seems to know a lot about RVs. He also drove 2 hours twice to help us with our water heater which was very appreciated. However he was not at all reliable with time and dates and while he did most of the installation correctly, he still installed it incorrectly causing the fuses in the unit to blow twice and us to order additional fuses, and my husband to rewire the electric portion of the water heater. So while we do now (a week and a half later) have a working water heater and some new information about our RV, it was my husband that ultimately had to figure out the water heater and get it working, and we still played Hugo quite a lot of money. It's difficult for me to tell whether this is just a fluke and Hugo was tired or if this process is normally this all over the place. So this is just an honest review of our experience.

Don’t try and schedule if you need work done
Extremely disappointing experience. I scheduled service with Hugo, and both times he canceled last-minute. The first cancellation came after the time he was supposed to arrive, citing a "family emergency." I gave the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled. The second time, he canceled the night before—very late—due to “truck problems.” I understand life happens, but this is a business, and communication matters. After both cancellations, I followed up to ask when he or someone else could actually come out. I never got a response either time. Total lack of reliability and professionalism. Would not recommend if you need someone dependable.
