Sometimes the path between multiple points is not always a straight line, but rather a Winding Road. Such is the story of my professional life. My first career was in the automotive field working in the parts and service departments at a variety of dealerships, aftermarket companies, and motorcycle shops. This provided me with my initial experience with fixing and maintaining vehicles and equipment. Next, was my second career was a definite change in direction, Law Enforcement. As with many things in life, my previous experience was put to use when I was tasked with managing, acquiring, and maintaining a fleet of on and off-road vehicles to include motorcycles, generators and RVs that were used as forward operating bases. Eventually, I was designing, acquiring, operation and maintaining mobile command vehicles. These vehicles' infrastructure is mostly comprised of RV components and systems which helped me gain valuable practical experience for my next career choice. After retiring from Federal Law Enforcement, I decided to take yet a new direction and become a certified RV technician. Not only does this provide me with a job where I can continue serving my community, but also to take care of my own 5th wheel RV.
